There! My name is Ms. Amy. Born and raised in Poynette, my husband and I live in the Village of Poynette,
between the two of us we have 5 children. I have always had a passion for Early Childhood Education and Childcare. I
have 23 years combined experience with both, in home family care, and licensed group center. It
is an absolute blessing to be able to be a part of the growth and education of all Gods Children! Our
philosophy here at SS is every child has a purpose and a gift. Ours is to see to it they develop those skills and traits.
Our focus isn't on numbers its the quality in care, and meeting the needs of each individual family and child. Our group
sizes and staff to child ratios reflect those goals. We are here for our families just as much as your children.
In our spare time we enjoy gardening, fishing, hiking, riding motorcycle, and exploring backroads. You only live once,
enjoy the time and make a difference along the way!
Miss Karen, Infant Lead Teacher
I have been working with young children for over 45 years
in both home and group center settings. The proud mother of three boys and grandmother of 5. I was born and raised
in Portage on a dairy farm. Currently, living on a 50 acre farm raising cows (15), sheep (30), chickens (12) dogs, (6),
a llama and a goat! In my spare time (haha) I enjoy working outside the farm, crafting fishing, and mowing the lawn.
Miss Tracy, Teacher Aide/Cook
I was raised in Marshall and moved to Poynette in
2010. After working in the service industry for several years, I decided to try my hand at childcare. It has proved
to be a great decision because making a difference in a child life is extremely rewarding. The smiles and hugs
are almost payment enough. I am married to Jim and have two boys Garrett (22) and Gabe (11). When I am not working
I enjoy camping, horseshoes, and playing with our dog Rosie!
Miss Kirstin, Lead Teacher Aide
I am currently 18 years old. I was born and raised in Poynette
and just completed my freshman year at UW Stevens Point. I am studying Psychology, child/youth & family studies
with a minor in criminal justice. In my free time I like to exercise or play with kids. I also spend alot of my time
getting Starbucks with friends. While attending school I also am a nanny and a teacher at the YMCA daycare. Working
here is the perfect summer job for me being that I have always enjoyed working with kids through both babysitting and daycares.
